Job Responsibilities

In the role of technician, you will work with repairs and modernization of elevators. You will perform preventive maintenance with suggestions for repairs to ensure minimal operational disruptions. You will have customer contact with clients who may also be building users, operational staff, maintenance technicians, property managers, etc. You will collaborate with Otis management and colleagues.

Your daily work may also include other tasks within our operations, such as service work on elevators. You may also participate in our on-call service.

Location: OTIS Region Stockholm & Uppsala

Requirements and Preferences: Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who has:

• Practical high school education in fields such as electrical or technical studies or similar.
• Experience working with modernization of elevators.
• Experience from practical work as a service technician, mechanic, installer, or electrician.
• Driver's license B
• Experience working with computers and applications on smartphones with various systems is preferred; computer work is involved.
• Fluent in Swedish, in speaking, writing, and reading comprehension.
• Can be understood in English in speaking, writing, and reading comprehension.

You are outgoing and communicative, and keen to maintain good cooperation with customers, partners both internally and externally, your colleagues, managers, and suppliers.

Additional Information and Conditions

• Salary according to agreement and collective agreement – Installatörsföretagen, SEF.
• Access to a service vehicle according to applicable car policy.
• Start: According to agreement. As soon as possible.
• A small number of travel days per year may occur within our service area.
• On-call duty outside regular working hours is included in the position when one is ready to work independently.
• Location: Skärholmen, Stockholm.
